Sleep: I am finally getting use to the sleeping on my side. Saturday I slept in until 10:45. I haven't done that in forever!

Sleep: Having a very hard time! Its time for me to break in and get that wonderful body pillow I've heard so much about! 

Best moment this week: Finally feeling the baby kick! I have been patiently waiting, waiting and waiting & hes finally kicked hard enough for me to feel it! Best feeling ever!

Miss Anything? Having a beer. Went to the Rangers game and while everyone was having a beer, I just had to sit there eating my lemon chill. It's worth not having one, but miss it!

 Miss Anything? Drinking! I never thought I would say that, but being at family gatherings and seeing everyone     drinking makes me want a ice cold beer sooo bad!

Maternity clothes shopping :(

Well the time has come where my pants are way too tight! My pants will button, but I feel like the button will pop off at anytime and hit someone in the eye! Which would not be a pretty sight!
So yesterday I went to Waxahachie with my mom to find some pants, and we go to 3 stores. The first stop was Target. I'm mostly just looking for work dress pants, and they had ONE pair of black pants. They were skinny legs which I don't like, so I decided we would try a few other places. The next stop was JcPenny. After looking around for 15 minutes we came to the conclusion that apparently this JcPenny doesn't sell maternity pants in their store. Although I did have fun looking at all of the cute baby onesies! Last stop is Ross. All of their pants are a size Small or Medium. Um hello have you ever seen someone with junk in the trunk? I'm pretty sure she isn't wearing a size Medium haha. So my maternity clothes shopping experience didn't go as planned :( but on a happy note the hubby and I will be going to Dallas this weekend to shop at Motherhood Maternity and A Pea in the Pod. Hopefully I will have better luck there! So in the mean time I will be sportin' dresses with tights, which are way cute anyways! :):):)

10 Weeks: Baby is the Size of a Prune! :)

How far along? 10 weeks and 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: 0 so far, yay!
Maternity clothes? Not yet, although my work pants are starting to fit really snug. I feel maternity pants shopping in the near future!
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Still sleeping great - because I am still able to sleep on my stomach
Best moment this week: Getting to hear the heartbeat again. This feels so surreal, so being able to hear the heartbeat helps me realize this is really happening.
Miss Anything? Being able to stay up past 9! Most nights I'm asleep between 8-9. There is't anymore staying up later watching tv or a movie with Bryan. I miss that alot!
Movement: Not yet
Food cravings: I don't feel like I have had any cravings, but I do want sweets a whole lot more now! :) Bring on the cookies & ice-cream!

First Sonogram

First sonogram at 8 weeks. The doctor said baby is right on schedule, with a healthy heart beat of 150bmp. Due date is September 4th.

The day we found out the good news!:)

The night I found out I was pregnant was defintely a memorable night! I had no idea I was pregnant, I was 3 days late and thought what the heck I'm going to take a test. It was the first time I had ever taken one, so I was so nervous. Bryan was actually out of town that night for a cotton bowl football game so it was just me and Rocky (my puppy). I went to Walgreens and bought a test. I gulped down a bottle of water and was ready to go. I waited patiently for my results and what do you know the positive sign was there. I stared at it for about 5 mintues thinking if that line was really there or if I was imagining it! So I called my best friend Caty and told her to hurry and come over. I showed her the test and she was practially crying tears of joy. I still wasn't convinced so we went and got another test. Gulped down another bottle of water and was ready to go again. Three mintues later the positive sign was there again, and I knew it was true. I immediately began crying for joy, I couldn't believe it! So the rest of the night I looked up cute baby stuff on pinterest and was pinning everything baby I found! The worst part is I had to wait for Bryan to come home, because I defintely didn't want to tell him the great news over the phone. He didn't get home until about 4 in the morning, clearly I had fallen asleep. That night I had wrapped the tests up in a box to make it look like a present. So the next morning when he woke up to get ready for work, I slipped the present in his closet where he would see it when he got his clothes. I told him that there was a present in his closet that I forgot to give him for christmas and to open it. He immediately thought it was candy because of the shape of the box. I was like um no its defintely not candy hehe. He then opened it up and said, "so what does this mean?" Um hello would they be in the box if they didn't mean anything! lol He was so shocked he was lost for words, he tried to sit on the bed and fell flat on the ground. He went and got into the shower afterwards, and after a minute he came to the realization and yelled, "Holi' come here!" I went in and he said, "So we're having a baby, really?" Smiling ear to ear, and I said yes and was then so excited! He couldn't stop talking about wondering what it was and what it would look like. From then on we have been the happiest new mommy and daddy to be!:)
